Miss Adriana Eterovic an International student (Croatian) studying a degree course in Event Production and Management at UCW. Part of my course involves organising events.  Living in the Broomhill area has inspired me to create an exciting community charity event proposing to support the Eastwood Farm nature reserve.

After the success of last years ‘Brislington Day,’ i am organising another fun-filled community/charity event that everyone in our local and surrounding area can enjoy! All funds raised will go again to the Friends of Eastwood Farm (FOEF), who do a fantastic job in maintaining the wildlife haven that is the Eastwood Farm Nature Reserve alongside the River Avon in Brislington.

We have an action-packed day in store, including an Easter Egg Hunt for children, a Business Exhibition in Beese’s marquee for local businesses to network and promote themselves, an exciting raffle, workshops, carnival games, Easter cake/egg auction, table tennis competition and, to top it all off, some fantastic live music from local artists!

• Free entry (although a donation would be greatly appreciated)
• Live Music
• Easter Egg Hunt
• Business Exhibition
• Workshops
• Carnival Games
• Raffle
• Table Tennis Competition
• Easter Cake / Egg Competition
• Enjoy Beese’s new menus on their opening day
• Help your local community through litter-picking
• Meet your neighbours and make new friends
• Most importantly, have a fantastic day!

I believe it is important to raise much needed money to support this wildlife haven, by the side of the River Avon in Brislington, raise awareness of the nature and help them to sign up new volunteers.

We are at the moment on the lookout for local businesses and organisations to hire a stall or to run outdoor workshop activities for our community day on 13th April 2019.

Business exhibition / Makers Market :
A perfect opportunity to promote your business and to network with other businesses and local residents. We ask for a donation of £15, with proceeds going directly to FOEF.

Alternatively, you could promote your business by donating a raffle prize and in return, your business will be listed as a sponsor on our marketing material and social media pages.

Workshops / Activities:
Promote your organisation or charity and have a free pitch by running a family friendly activity.

We are as well looking for local talent to perform at the event.

Solo artist, duet, or part of a band, you are more than welcome to register here, and perform for the community.

With an even bigger event than last year this is the perfect opportunity for (under 18 and +18) individuals to gain exposure and support local area.

I look forward to hearing back from you and thank you in advance for your help in promoting this event.
