There’s a new team in town at Keepers Kitchen & Bar Bristol so come and meet the new faces for a Grand Night Out!
– New menu unveiled –
There’s always been a buzz about Keepers Kitchen & Bar in the heart of Bristol’s Old City Quarter and now even more so for, as you may well know, the central tenet of our restaurant revolves around championing urban honey which features prominently on the menu.
With such a central location and a versatile new menu just unveiled, the venue is perfect for either a swift turnaround for local businesses under time constraint or a more relaxed visit for social eating whether its for a coffee, a meal or a cunning cocktail.
Did you know a single beehive can make more than 100 pounds of honey.
Situated on the ground floor of one of Bristol’s most iconic and important Grade II listed buildings, our spacious restaurant and bar combines classical 19th century elegance with a modernist and industrial chic. Neutral tones enlivened by splashes of deep petrol blue and brilliant yellow, are the perfect counterpoint to the restored, highly decorated, Victorian columns which punctuate the space. Seating is casual and relaxed – a mix of mid-twentieth century modern, vintage wooden “finds” and leather Chesterfields – a perfect sanctuary from the busy city streets and quayside nearby.
There’s also a collection of salvaged objets d’art for customers to enjoy, all found in nearby St Nicholas Market whilst the bee motif is captured in a backlit honeycomb mural and chandeliers.

Says Manager, Pedro Martins:
“Our bee theme is our key point of difference – it suits our ethos and dedication to the arts, sustainability and the environment as well as having a rustic and cool ambiance that demonstrates our love of honey in our products. I love honey – I’m not personally a beekeeper but never say never! We – the Keepers Team – enjoy nothing more than experimenting with honey in our cocktails, gins and food. And we’re supporting the bee population and their importance to sustainability and pollination.
“My personal favourite menu items are our signature cocktails! We had so much fun creating and preparing them. The winner overall for me has to be the Keepers Signature Cocktail which also includes our Keepers sponsored honey.”

At the heart of our menus is a selection of much loved British staples made from quality and locally sourced ingredients. For the past two years, we’ve partnered with urban bee specialist, The British Honey Company and are currently “fostering” a selection of hives, all producing the honey we are using in our dishes. Their own Keepr’s brand of infused spirits and other honey products lends a distinctive flavour to our menus.
There’s small dishes perfect for nibbling and sharing and more substantial offerings too alongside pizzas, salads, sandwiches, paninis, burgers and a tempting dessert selection. A kid’s menu is available.

The Bar – A well-stocked listing offers the classic favourites of spirits, beers, wines and sparkling wines alongside some local gins (such as Bristol Gin), Hiver beers, premium Buzbee’s tonics and Keepr’s flavoured spirits. There’s even several honey-based concoctions using our own House Honey. Why not join us for Happy Hour every Friday and Saturday from 17.00 – 19.00?
